I am passionate about babies and their care and this led me to become a Postpartum Doula.

I’m a younger mom of two grown-up children; I have been around babies and children of all ages since I started babysitting in England when I was in my teens. Over the years, I have helped many friends with their new-borns, in Scotland, Switzerland and here in Vancouver. I then decided to turn my passion into a career, to help new families in Vancouver.

One thing I hear many times is that I have calmness about me; I will pass this onto you and your baby. I truly enjoy the presence of babies and understand how overwhelming they can be to new parents, especially those who have no family near by.

My main qualifications are CAPPA and Canadian Red Cross CPR for babies and young children. I maintain my high level of training by continuous education, around all aspects of childcare and parenting. Through my recent part-time job for the Vancouver School Board as a pupil Supervision Aide at a West-end elementary school, I also have updated police checks.

I have recently provided after-care for circumcised babies.
