We all need a helping hand now and again. My hands will help you as follows!
As your Postpartum Doula, I will work with you exclusively for the duration of our contract, thereby ensuring you of my full attention.
I will care for you the mother and father along with your family in your home in the first few weeks following the birth of your baby (or babies). I will provide non-medical support and companionship, assist with newborn care and sibling adjustment, meal preparation and household chores. My role involves educating you and your partner about life with a newborn.
In this new time for a family, it can be very helpful to have an extra pair of hands. There are many changes and demands put on parents with the arrival of a new baby.
As a non-judgmental caregiver, I will assist the new mother with her recovery from the birth experience, allowing her to focus on the needs of the new baby, I help the new family by demonstrating practical newborn care and support to the mother with the method of feeding she has chosen.
As your postpartum Doula I will provide individually tailored emotional and practical in-home support. My services will include, but not limited to the following:
